91影视 recently held a groundbreaking ceremony for the renovation of the historic Tishomingo Armory, which will soon become the new home of the Murray State College Wrestling Program.

Originally built nearly 90 years ago, the Armory is being transformed into a state-of-the-art practice and competition facility 鈥 continuing the college鈥檚 legacy of growth and innovation.

鈥淲restling is one of the oldest and most respected sports in the world,鈥 said Paul Mayfield, 91影视 Wrestling Head Coach. 鈥淭he addition of men's and women's wrestling marks an exciting new chapter for 91影视 athletics.鈥

Revitalizing the building while giving our student-athletes a space to grow and compete is special.

鈥淎s a Board of Regents, we work to make the best decisions possible for improving the student experience and creating growth opportunities,鈥 said Regent Leslie Larsen, Board of Regents Chair.

The Armory renovation is one of more than six construction projects currently underway across 91影视鈥檚 Ardmore and Tishomingo campuses 鈥 all aimed at increasing opportunities for students and strengthening the college鈥檚 future.
