As part of 91影视鈥檚 America250 celebration, President Dr. Tim Faltyn unveiled the mural that will be painted at Murray on Main in Tishomingo.
Eight mural options were created featuring 91影视鈥檚 campus landmarks: Clyde Kindell Farm, Chickasaw Hall, Haskell Lucas Hall, the water tower, the clock and the campus sign. The Ardmore and Tishomingo campuses were also included.
A poll was sent out via email and social media for people to vote for their favorite.
鈥淥ur plan was to select the mural that received the most public votes,鈥� Faltyn said. 鈥淲hat we didn鈥檛 anticipate was a near tie, with the Clyde Kindell Farm and the Murray State College campus sign separated by less than one-tenth of a percentage point.鈥�
After a runoff vote, the official mural design winner was Clyde Kindell Farm. The artist will start painting it in April.

Details for other individual events will be announced throughout the year.
